Photography Project: Shifting
Shifting depicts a movement through the landscape of the Beeliar Regional Park, focusing on the land around North Lake. This area is encompassed by suburbs, highways and in recent years has been affected by rapid urban development.
Exploring the everyday sublime, the series is transient, almost dream-like and asks the viewer to question how they look at the natural spaces around them and whether they are ‘nature’ or constructions.
