Photography Project: Sludge
A conceptual series that explores the way technology distorts our view of the world both physically and psychologically.
The stocking mask that covers the figure distorts his face as well as abstracting his view. The images switch between his point of view, to portraits that observe his drifting between suburbs and parks, watching the world warp around him. The series gradually becomes abstracted until finally the character’s world is consumed by a blurred view of a digital screen.
This series was created as a realised storyboard for a music video.
